Barbacan Produce brings independent designers, artists, makers and craftspeople into Piazza Barbacan and the surrounding streets of Trieste's old city. The September date is one of the market's evening editions, shifting the gathering into the cooler hours. Small-scale contemporary design and craft appear among the narrow streets and older stone fabric of Cavana rather than inside a conventional exhibition hall.
